The Disney Store always has great sales going on. If you plan to go to Disneyland this year, Spring is a good time to purchase a Cinderella dress that is normally very expensive. However, these dresses tend to run very small (1T-3T) and look cheap. In addition, they are generally made with Velcro which snags on the dress. Often, the cheapest dresses are made from thin material that rips easily and is not sewn well. However, if you take your time and look, you may be able to find a quality costume in this price range, especially a gently used one on eBay. You can save a little more by buying online because you save the sales tax.

Walmart and Target are other places you can buy costumes. Beware of cheaply made costumes that you may find at these stores in the $20 price range. The look cute on the shelf, but they are generally itchy, small, and poorly made. Of course, you may find some exceptions to this, but you probably won’t find a long lasting princess costumes at your local discount stores.

There are many online retailers that sell Cinderella dress up clothes. You will find thousands of them with a simple Google search! How do you narrow down the possibilities and find a quality dress for a reasonable price? In my experience, Little Adventures dress up clothes are very well made. They are adorable and are fully serged so that the hems and seams don’t rip. They have basic and fancy styles, but best of all, they are machine washable. For moms that’s a huge bonus! However, the dresses are a little plain, so a fullness slip is recommended under them to make them poof, it really makes a huge difference!
