This is probably the first toy that (no pun intended) pops into your mind when you hear the name Fisher-Price. Maybe this will jar your memory: the Push Toy Corn Popper has a long, blue handle (well, “long” if you’re 3 years old), and rolls along on two brightly colored red/orange wheels while making great popping sounds as it bounces brightly colored balls inside a clear plastic bubble that’s mounted above the wheels. So much for the technical specifications. There must be some unwritten law that every toddler has to have one of these. And with good reason. They’re still fun! –Chris Livesay

A Fun, Interactive Kitchen
This interactive toy kitchen needs minimal set up once you unpack it from the box. The only piece you’ll need to assemble for your child is the green garbage can, which snaps into place and stays put with the two accompanying Phillips-head screws. Three AA batteries are included with purchase.
The toy has a case-like design that incorporates features on the outside and inside. One side of the exterior features a refrigerator door with a handle and slots for inserting food shapes like a carton of milk, a bunch of carrots, and a jar of apple sauce. These plastic toys slide into a storage compartment that your child can access inside the refrigerator. Around the corner, an interactive kitchen boasts plenty of buttons that emit familiar cartoon sound effects.
Your child will be fascinated by the sounds of sizzling on the stove or running water from the faucet. An oversized switch clicks on a kitchen light, and a track ball on the toy clock makes a tick-tock noise when moved. Opening the fridge reveals the storage compartment, which holds the plastic food and utensils, and an interactive book that makes fruits and vegetables fun and appealing.

Colorful Balls that Spin and Pop in the Air
The Busy Ball Popper is a one-piece toy that’s made up of a removable ball trough, tube, and tray. When your child presses down on the big-eyed mushroom character on the Ball Popper, the balls move up the tube and pop out of the top, falling back into the tray to start the process all over again.
The popper is made to withstand the rigors of your infant’s play and can be easily cleaned with a damp towel. The plastic balls are large enough that you will not have to worry about them as choking hazards, but when your child is popping the balls, make sure to keep an eye out for balls as they can go off of the track occasionally. The popper also includes eight lively songs that start once you have pumped down the plunger to activate the ball-popping fan.
Keep in mind that although the Busy Ball Popper is made out of a strong, durable plastic, it is fairly heavy and should be kept on a flat surface while being played to avoid any damage to your furniture. The toy also shuts itself off after a short period of time, but it is recommended to always turn it off manually for battery conservation.

We got this for our son when he was 8 Months old. He has enjoyed it since Day 1. He is 15 months old and still plays with for over 15 – 20 mins in the evenings! For an infant that is a lot of Minutes! All kids are different, their interests are different. my son love all types of sports balls so maybe it was natural for him.
I recommend this a lot. Despite having played with it so much there is not a single scratch or wear and tear. Very durable.

Great value, durability and action! I bought this for my 15 mo. old grandson. He loved it. He doesn’t get the cause and effect yet (pull back and let go) but he pretends with it all over the house and loves the noise made by the popping balls. He adds his own car sounds to it. He does hold on and crawl with it and pushes it forward and backward–sometimes lets go “accidentally” and then it scoots across the house. I am a teacher and believe it’s a great buy for the money and perfect for little guys who put everything in their mouths (Match box cars are not appropriate/safe for this age). Glad I bought it.

The Farmer Says CustomerReview
My mom bought this product for my son as a Christmas gift. Hearing the different animal sounds and music always makes him smile, and he loves playing with it. Even though he’s too young yet to pull the lever for himself, he will bring it to me when he wants to hear the sounds. I like the “quiz” feature that asks “Can you find the animal that makes [x] sound?” and think it will be a good learning tool when my son is older. But—and this is my only complaint—it is a really LOUD toy. There is no way to adjust the volume and I find myself wanting to cover up the speaker (located on the front of the toy) when my son brings it to me. Given that a lot of young children hold toys that make sounds up to their ears, I think this toy needs to be much quieter.

I bought this mat having read the reviews and therefore I knew that I was buying something small – and it is! The description does not provide the dimensions and I haven’t measurned it but it is about a one quarter of the size of a normal floor playmat.
I would also say that the quality could be a little better.
Having said all that it is a very useful toy that can be taken everywhere. It’s easy to hang in the car and provides entertainment for the journey. We currently have ours hanging on the side of our “pack and play”. Jack loves the mirror on one side and the noise from the sun flower when you press it.
The folding ablility and the fact there are different features on each side is also great – lots of black and white for really young babies and colors on the other side as they get a bit older.
As an addtional toy, and not a ‘playmat’ per se, I think this is a great buy.

I got this for my baby when she was 7 months, she didn’t know how to put the rings onto the column but she surely knew how to remove them and that was and still very amusing for her. If i wanted her to be quite for a while, I would just put the rings in place and put the toy in front of her, she cannot resist going to the toy and start removing the rings then play with them.. Few months later, when she learned how to put the rings, the toy became even more amusing and is still one of her favorite. She is now 11 months.
Also it helps me teach her the different colors and sizes when I say now put the smaller ring, or now put the yellow ring…. etc.
The price is really good and the toy is durable.
Highly recommended!
